Through a constellation of 8 satellites with a capacity of 84 Gbps deployed at Medium-Earth Orbit (MEO), Mavoni delivers high bandwidth capacity to all parts of South Africa by utilizing a combination of remote spot beams. Each beam has a coverage of 700 km diameter and 1.2 Gbps capacity. We provide a broad portfolio of innovative, field-proven, high capacity backhaul and IP solutions for leading telecommunications operators, public sector as well as corporate customers.
We provide high capacity transmission enabling mobile operators and ISP's to backhaul traffic from their GSM/3G/HSPA/LTE networks in underserved areas with low penetration of fibre infrastructure thus ensuring an acceptable quality of service for their customers.
We offer affordable connectivity for eGovernment initiatives that delivers e-learning, e-governament, e-health and universal access. The large footprint of our network will ensure that rural areas in remote and difficult terrain are able to benefit from quality connectivity at an appropriate price point.
Our enterprise VSAT network and products consists of VSAT satellite systems and products designed to provide enterprises with broadband access to the Internet or private networks in order to support retail point of sale, Voice-over-IP and other Web-centric or network applications.
